THEATRE SCHOOL • Combined Course - Singing, Dancing, Drama from 6 yrs

COMBINED COURSE: The combined course provides young people from the age of 6 to 16 years with an opportunity to develop theatrical skills in the pleasant surroundings of our new studios.

Classes are on Saturday afternoons from 2.00-5.00p.m. They are divided into three age groups for a combined 3-hour course consisting of Drama, Singing and Dancing as follows.

Drama: Designed for each age group to provide all-round drama training, building self-confidence and stimulating expression. The course includes acting, improvisation and mime in addition to television technique and make-up. As students develop they will move on to more demanding work to match ability.

Singing: Catering for students with or without previous singing experience the course will teach all aspects of voice control and presentation. All types of music will be used.

Dancing: This will be based on Jazz/Freestyle dance and in addition to exercise and workouts, many new dance styles will be introduced together with specially designed routines to music from major shows. New dance students will learn the main disciplines of dance and performance.

There are short refreshment breaks during the afternoon when students can either bring or purchase, drinks and snacks.

Fees: Combined 3 hour course - £15.00 per week (inc of VAT) Fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each term (usually 6 weeks). A 10% surcharge will be added for fees not paid by the due date. Please complete the GRAYSTONS Combined Course application form and return to us at the above address together with £15.00 registration fee. On receiving this we will inform you of your start date.
