DENISE COXON - PRINCIPAL
AISTD dip
Denise began Dancing aged 3 and completed her training at Laine Theatre Arts where she gained her teaching qualifications in Modern, Tap, Ballet and National. Denise started teaching at the Dance Studio in 1984 and over the years she has entered pupils for ISTD Tap and Modern exams as well as choreographing for competitions and shows. She has had numerous successes at competitions both locally and nationally with several All England finalists and winners
SARAH CENCI - PRINCIPAL
ISTD DDE Tap and Modern, DDI Imperial Ballet
Sarah started at the Dance Studio when she was five. During her time at the school she was sucessful in all her exams and competed in many festivals over the years reaching the Regional and National All England Finals on numerous occasions. Sarah auditioned and performed with National Youth Ballet, English Youth Ballet and four Pantos at the Millfield Theatre. At 17 she continued to train at the North London Dance Studio and went on to gain her teaching qualifications in ISTD Tap, Ballet and Modern. Her professional choreography credits include Assistant Choreographer for Alexandra Burke performance and Heather Small performance at Twickenham Stadium, Opening of F1 Silverstone, Xfactor, T4 Popworld and tutored for a number of years at a Performing Arts College.
SOPHIE MUSCAT - PRINCIPAL
RAD CBTS Ballet, ISTD DDE Tap and Modern, ISTD DDI Imperial Ballet
Sophie has always enjoyed performing and began her love of dance at The Dance Studio from the age of 7 where she represented the school at many festivals. She was very proud to achieve a place in the All England Dance finals in Ballet, Modern and National solos on numerous occasions.
She then continued with professional dance training at the North London Dance Studio completing her ISTD Tap and Modern teaching qualifications. She then completed a 2 year course at the Royal Academy of Dance achieving her RAD ballet qualifications.
CHARLIE BATES PARRY
Modern, Ballet and Acro
Charlie trained at Pineapple Performing Arts School on a full scholarship. Charlie then went on to train at the North London Dance Studios where she studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Commercial and Musical Theatre graduating with DDI and Lamda qualifications. Charlie specialises in Acro and teaches our Baby and Pre Primary classes. Her credits include - Street Dance The Movie, Harry Potter, Eastenders, The Bill, Asda advert, Jamie Oliver’s healthy schools, It’s England time Chico - Britain & Ireland’s Next top model, PCUK- Edinburgh fringe festival, Solider- Edinburgh fringe festival.
LARA STILES
Ballet
Lara began dancing at the Dance Studio at the age of 3. Whilst at the School she completed all her exams in tap, ballet and modern and went on to gain her DDI teaching qualifications. She performed in numerous Dance Studio Shows and competed in festivals.
MAKIKO FUKUDA
RAD PDTD Ballet, Progressing Ballet Technique, Pilates,
After training professionally as a ballet dancer in Japan, Makiko went on to perform in numerous shows around the world (including The Lion King, The King and I, Evita, Kiss me Kate, West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera). She has also extended her knowledge and qualifications to include Mat Pilates, Body Barre, RAD Silver Swans and Progressing Ballet Technique. Makiko has taught at various schools across London and Kent as well as Workshops around the world.

PAT PEAZER - OFFICE MANAGER
Pat's daughters started at The Dance Studio in 1987 and 1990 respectively and very soon after she went on to helping out at all the Shows and events. She very much appreciated the excellent tuition and the community feel of the school so much so that in 1995 became our Office Manager and has since been everyone's first point of contact.
